A personal project hangar

Curiosity.
Cleared for
takeoff.

I’m Matthew. I build things that bring my interests in aviation, data, and software together.

A few useful tools. A few experiments.
Always something on the workbench.

04 SELECTED PROJECTS

01 / Selected work

Built out of interest.

Side projects with a purpose.
From the virtual apron to the real one.

01 / Flight simulationWeb app

Aerogate

Making the virtual airport a little more organized. Live VATSIM flights, shared gate assignments, and pilot gate requests, together in one place.

Artwork is organized by airline ICAO code and form factor, with reviewed source references and consistently shaped, AI-assisted tail illustrations. The shapes above are an illustrative study.

03 / Aviation & dataWeb app

PlanelyStated

An explorer for public U.S. aviation data. Bringing airline fleets, airports, routes, delays, and aircraft records into a more approachable view.

Follow samples on a live map, inspect a rolling signal timeline, and track access-point changes. Save separate survey sessions and export results as CSV, GeoJSON, or KML.

02 / Behind the projects

An interest becomes an idea.
An idea becomes a project.

This is my little corner of the internet: a home for the things I build in my spare time.

Aviation is a thread through much of it, from organizing virtual airports to exploring public data and building tools for the ramp. I like following an interesting problem and seeing where it leads.
